How do I deposit money?

Select Deposit at the top of the page on a computer, or open Wallet and select Deposit. Then choose how to pay:

  • Bank transfer, from any Nigerian bank app. You don't need a Busha account.
  • Busha, from the cash or crypto in a Busha account you've linked.

Your Signal balance is in naira.

How do I deposit by bank transfer?

  1. Choose Bank transfer and enter the amount.
  2. Select Get account details. We give you a bank, an account number and an account name.
  3. From your bank app, send exactly the amount shown to that account before the timer runs out.
  4. Select I've sent the money.

Each account takes one payment and stops accepting money when the timer ends. If the timer runs out before you've paid, start again and pay the new account instead.

How do I deposit from Busha?

  1. Choose Busha. If your Busha account isn't linked yet, select Connect Busha and sign in to Busha.
  2. Choose the balance to pay from: naira, or a crypto balance such as USDT or BTC.
  3. Enter the amount and review it. A crypto deposit shows the rate we lock for it, and the naira you'll receive.
  4. Select Confirm deposit.

Your Busha account needs Level 2 verification on Busha before you can move money from it.

Do I need a Busha account?

  1. You can sign up with your phone number, email or Google, deposit by bank transfer and withdraw to your bank account without one.

What is the minimum and maximum deposit?

Each deposit can be from ₦500 to ₦1,000,000, by bank transfer or from Busha.

How long do deposits take?

A deposit from Busha usually lands in under a minute. A bank transfer usually lands within a few minutes of your bank sending it, though some banks take longer.

You can close the window while you wait. The deposit shows as pending in your Wallet, and we update you in Activity, your notifications, when it's done.

Why hasn't my deposit shown up?

  • Bank transfer: check that you sent exactly the amount shown, to the account shown, before the timer ran out. If the deposit fails and your bank shows the money as sent, it is returned to you.
  • Busha: check in Busha that the transfer left your account.

If it still hasn't arrived, contact us through Support in the account menu, or at support@busha.co, with the amount and the time you sent it.

How do I withdraw money?

  1. Open Wallet and select Withdraw.
  2. Choose Bank transfer or Busha.
  3. For a bank transfer, choose a saved account or add one: pick your bank and enter your account number, and we show the name on the account.
  4. Enter the amount, review it, and confirm.

You can withdraw only to a bank account in your own name, matching the name on your verified identity. You need to verify your identity before your first withdrawal.

What is the minimum and maximum withdrawal?

  • To a bank account: from ₦1,000 to ₦1,000,000.
  • To Busha: from ₦500 to ₦1,000,000.

Are there fees on deposits or withdrawals?

Signal charges no fee to deposit, by bank transfer or from Busha, and none to withdraw to Busha. A withdrawal to a bank account has a ₦150 fee, which comes out of the amount you withdraw. The screen shows any fee, and what you'll receive, before you confirm. Your own bank may charge you for sending a transfer.

How long do withdrawals take?

A withdrawal to Busha usually arrives in under a minute, and one to a bank account depends on the bank. The withdrawal shows as in progress in your Wallet until it's done, and we notify you when it arrives or if it fails. If it fails, the money goes back to your Signal balance.

Why can't I withdraw all of my balance?

Some of your balance may not be free to leave yet:

  • Cash held for an open order is freed when you cancel the order or it fills.
  • Promotional credit, and positions bought with it, free up when the markets you bought into settle.
  • A withdrawal still in progress holds its amount until it arrives, or returns it to your balance if it fails.

The withdraw screen shows how much you can withdraw right now, and why.

Why was my withdrawal declined?

  • You haven't verified your identity yet.
  • The bank account isn't in your name. Withdraw to an account in your own name, or contact support if it is yours and was refused.
  • The amount is below the minimum, or more than you can withdraw right now.

If the screen offers Contact support, select it and we'll look at it with you.
